Can turn that around and say it's the usual people hating on the game/Yoshi-P and defending aveyond. I'm sure hell give you mod status in his weird Discord he has for people who like to hate the game...
Sure buddy, you keep calling any and every topic that has any kind of complaint agaisnt the game a bait, you have no ground to speak really.

I don't call every topic bait. I didn't even call this one bait. But at least I reply to people who disagree with me. Aveyond just puts them on ignore. Who wants the echo chamber?
Aaaah the usual people that have an inability to handle the fact that criticism will always have a counter-criticism, and a seeming inability to handle the mere sight of a disagreement, what is new on these forums.
Yes, other people can play these needless tirades of monologues too.
"that's bait" is not counter criticism.Aaaah the usual people that have an inability to handle the fact that criticism will always have a counter-criticism, and a seeming inability to handle the mere sight of a disagreement, what is new on these forums.

Yes, the OP had a point, but obviously you and the brigade go way above that and just call it "bait" and try and derail it as much as possible since you cant handle any sort of criticism agaisnt the game.
I'm just waiting for FFXVI's release next year so that more focus can go back onto XIV.
Far be it from me to ever call myself an ardent Yoshida defender/white knight/whatever term, but I think he's been fairly up front in the past that the kind of games he likes are old school, hardcore MMOs. I don't think it's an issue that he hasn't played Island Sanctuary. In fact, I think there was an interview where he said the entire reason it became a thing was because a lot of his team enjoyed playing Harvest Moon in their free time.
I think it's certainly fair to point out how abysmal job design and battle content are becoming when it's supposed to be Yoshida's favorite thing, but I don't think the same can really be said for Island Sanctuary when it seems pretty clear it's not something he's particularly chomping at the bits about. I don't think it's entirely fair to expect him to love every aspect of the game, especially when it's unfair to expect the same of players.
