Also curious if you have more characters than those linked into your profile. Because only one of those have a single job at lvl 90. Not a single crafter and gatherer the last I looked and barely any minions or mounts too. How much of the content are you playing?

Also did you finally do Island Sancturary? In another thread you said that you only get your information from others.

I have posted quite negatively in the past too, yet I always tried to have at least done the content for a bit.

Apologies but if you had to start digging into someone's armory it has gone too far, for all we know those could have been gifts form other people. I know half my mounts are birthday gifts or holiday gifts. I also have won a few things here and there from random FC events.

As for the whole topic I can see the argument a bit, do I fully agree? No but for the love of Hydaelyn some of you really need to back off posting in certain topics just to argue with and bemoan the author.

So its too far when you check out someones profile that constantly posts negative opinions but its fine that he bascially assumes what Yoshida does in his free time or if some sentence in a interview means that he dislikes IS.

Together with him stating that he has not done Island himself I just really doubt if he really plays this game that much. And that matters imo if you post so many topics about how this game sucks, how it would be better and how horrible the devs are.

Yet in the thread I made asking for achievement points to be displayed on the forum you had this to say:

On one hand it would be cool to show them but on the other hand this can open quite the cans of worms too. What if people decide that you are not allowed to have an opinion if you dont have x amount of points even if you can still form an educated opinion about something?

So give them to us but also make sure that any sentence about someone not having a good enough opinion because of those should get punished for that. This way its truly just a nice way to show how much you play the game without holding it over other peoples head.

Which is precisely the sort of tactic you are resorting to here. To say nothing of the fact that you post frequently enough on the lore forum to have seen some of the disturbing comments flung at anyone who dares to like or dislike the 'wrong' characters. As such, it strikes me as disingenuous to take issue with someone deciding to not make their actual main character publicly viewable. Some of us do it, others don't - it's an optional choice.

Normally I agree with OP and Theo, as controversial as that may sound, buuut I feel like this one's a bit of a stretch.

Now don't get me wrong. Island Sanctuary is shit. It's boring, unrewarding, not much more than a time sink for little if any gains, and shows that SE can do instanced housing but simply refuses to. It probably would improve if Yoshi decided to actually go and play it on his own time, but I also want to say that it's not shit because he doesn't play it. It's just a heavily flawed piece of content. It's one of 14's attempts to cash in on people that want a different genre of game but suffer from brand loyalty.

Where's the hemorrhaging players part coming from anyways? I'm all for that as it would hopefully spook them into making changes the game desperately needs (as well as satisfy my spitefulness), but sadly this is the only other popular mmo on the market that isn't straight up bad like BDO so I can't see it happening. At least outside of the often spike and wane.

The game has problems. Far too many to list here. This isn't as pressing as some of the other ones especially since Island Sanctuary is, well, island content. Has little effect on the game as a whole and just exists in its own realm. That said, I can only hope this gets the touching up it deserves.

I would like to see sources on this instead of wild speculation.

The login server is not specific to individual servers, rather 26 concurrent logins on the entire data server. It handles logins very quickly- that is to say a number like 26 to zero is hardly surprising.

Moreover, just because it is an EU server doesn’t mean all players are in the EU, or that these players are the ones that hang out in Limsa.

It usually boils down to concern for one's privacy. Whether appropriate or unfounded, not everyone is comfortable with their mains being out there. Sometimes it's just a wanting to keep a low profile thing. Or, y'know, someone outspoken about their opinions might be concerned about possible in-game fallout. Could be any number of reasons.
