If anything, you utterly failed to read what has already been said. "saying thanks isn't praise", yes, we know. Just look up.

I swear, you skip over an entire thread and then you breed negativity with amazing quips as "common courtesy is obviously lost on most", and then people who complain over things are called out on being negative? You're no better!

At least admit your fault? Yeah, I'm passive aggressive, because I'm so tired of people not even reading what others posted and giving it a rest. Because here's the thing Atelier... YES there ARE people saying SE is never at fault. That's the point of this whole thread! And when we justify it as "We know they've done good things, but that doesn't excuse bad things", people go absolutely ballistic!

Like, I agree, it's a terrible thing to only focus on extremes. I DON'T want to only call them out on their issues. But as I said before, I can't call them on issues and force out a good thing to counter-balance that, it will sound so fake.

Nobody is even trying to say "ignore the bad or the devs mistakes". OP isnt saying that the devs are perfect and cant do no wrong, how about you stop pretending that there's this magical loud majority of people who abhor any kind of criticism towards the dev team when if you take the time to actually read what people are saying is to be respectful with the criticism? Again you being very defensive kinda paints the picture over some of that toxic extreme behavior.

Personally, I find their statement "Tell me to my face to turn a blind eye to the way they treated my race ..." (emphasis added) more troubling than mere childish behavior. That level of projecting oneself into a video game character ... what should one make of it?

I am not my characters. The lack of sufficient appropriate footwear and headgear options for my Viera fem characters is not SE treating me badly. It is just what it is, and if it ruined my experience playing my Viera characters, I've still got the free Fantasia they each got for completing ARR to change them to another race.
