No real sense thanking intern-san for their work, they get rewarded with job experience as they study.
As for the real devs, they are off on FFXVI.
やはり、お前は……笑顔が……イイ
Didn't they simply... do their job by correcting mistakes that they made? They wouldn't need to go "above and beyond" if they just did things right the first time.
I will thank thank them when they kill off limited jobs and allow BLU to do stuff like....I don't know, complete the main scenario?
That will never happen, so I will never be nice in terms of their development, or lack thereof.
I mean would it be so bad if they could do MSQ up until the end of Stormblood?
I give them my thanks by staying subscribed.![]()
You can praise the devs, but you have to call them out too when they're clearly in the wrong
Not that i'm saying harass them, it's never okay to harass people, but they've clearly messed up with job balance and their response is very lackluster.
Won't nerf jobs because they don't want to upset people
Won't buff underperforming jobs to not upset the jobs doing well...?
so never adjust jobs by that logic?

No, I don't.
I can praise my spouse but overlook their mistakes.
After four decades together, that seems to work pretty well.
I don't see that I need to treat the devs any different.
Like my spouse, and unlike most forum posters, the devs have brought a lot of fun into my life.
So like my spouse, I cut the devs some slack.
BTW, there's evidence that punishment may not be a good tool for training dogs. (https://arstechnica.com/science/2022...ining-to-heel/).
If those findings generalize to other mammals, abusing the devs here in the forums may not produce the results the abusers are hoping for.
[Edit: and may be a reason why the devs don't seem to pay any attention to the English forums.]
I don't think I need to tell you this, but you are not in a relationship with the development team. It's all parasocial. The only one relationship you're in with them is customer/service provider. And if it's not working out, but you know they can do better, would you not say something? No, I don't.

No one's punishing the devs. This isn't Pavlov's Dog. Expressing exhasperation, disappointment or frustration is a healthy thing when justified. And some of it IS justified :| People going overboard and being disrespectful? I get criticising that. People bringing up negative aspects and expressing disappointment? The devs asked for feedback, not an echo chamber of applause.
Silverbane...
...please stop smoking the Gysahl Greens, this isn't sane.

If Silverbane is in a relationship with the dev team, she's in an abusive relationship lolI don't think I need to tell you this, but you are not in a relationship with the development team. You're a hater because you don't kiss the feet of the devs when they screw up for the millionth time in a row![]()
