In your opinion I guess. I never thought zodiark was going to be the big baddie. Especially after shadowbringers. Him just being a primal made that evident.

Primals strength comes from belief, and only a few ascians were left who believed in him.

To the first point, a lot of the people wanting to see more of Zodiark weren't expecting him to be the 'big bad' either. He was summoned for the sake of salvation for the Ancients and the protection of Etheirys, after all.

To the second point, Elder Primals differ from regular Primals in the sense that once they're summoned they don't need to absorb aether or prayers from their surroundings.

At any rate, the game is host to more than just fans of the Scions so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the game to have spent a little more time on exploring the sheer gravity of putting an end to the hopes and dreams of an entire civilisation.

For context, imagine if the game went straight to the Lopporits after the Warrior of Light returned to Vesper Bay after Livia's attack...or after Zenos' massacre in Rhalgr's Reach?

It would feel rather tonally inconsistent with what was going on at the time.

It's literally just fanfiction. Lahabrea and the ascians ticket the warriors on the first, no hydaelyn. Lmao. It's so bad.

Not that I'd expect someone who tries to accuse people of 'misogyny' if they dislike Venat to have a fair and balanced take on the subject of Zodiark but...the artwork itself is very well drawn and it's a fair and reasonable assumption that the artist in question speaks English as a second language so attacking it on that front is in poor taste.

It's also realistic to call people out for genocidal rampages even if they benefit you indirectly.

I'd like to see you produce anything like it. I'll wait while you head off to MS Paint. Maybe you can post some of the totally non-cringeworthy moments, like the Scions praying to the WoL, or Herois declaring herself a Supreme Deity, or the goth bird girl flailing for 30-40% of the fight, or the burger scene, or the cringe fake-out deaths.

No matter how straightforward or polite one tries to frame their message as, it seems there are always individuals who are unwilling to entertain new ideas unless they come from Yoship himself. Nevertheless, I think it is in the best interest of the game for its areas of improvements to be openly discussed.

Barely 10% of his fight. He didn't use up multiple stars' worth of dynamis, nor was he presented as a threat to the entire known universe or used as the pretext for the entire status quo.
