That's not even remotely comparable. It happens at the very end of the fight rather than for almost half of it.
...and as much as some nicely drawn art seems to tilt some people here, there's little need to resort to personal attacks and foul language.

The only ones resorting to personal attacks are you and your partner lol.
I never claimed the art was bad. I claimed what was written was pure fanfiction.
No WoL has fond memories of lahabrea, dude literally wanted us dead before we even formally met his character.
Also, you seem pretty obsessed. You can't seem to let things go that happened in conversations from almost a year ago, and haven't been relevant since.

I don't think some light pushback against your own harsh comments are equal to 'personal attacks' - and once again, I will point out that in the past you have accused people of 'misogyny' for not liking Venat. Just to be clear, are you denying that to be the case? I think it's a far worse and horrific insinuation than someone assuming you're incapable of matching a skilled artist. The only ones resorting to personal attacks are you and your partner lol.

As for the story elements...I think that you should probably take the time to familiarise yourself with the story, then. Not only did the current patch have our character build a friendly rapport with Lahabrea...during his or her time as Azem they were a member of the Convocation. The art is written from the perspective of someone reacting realistically to learning that they had friends and family members who were murdered by the same individual who not only inflicted genocide upon the civilisation in question but tormented the survivors by allowing them to work in vain for twelve thousand years shouldering the burden of the efforts to reverse something that should not have happened in the first place.
To say nothing of the suffering introduced across Etheirys itself as a consequence of the Sundering. Shortened life spans, susceptibility to disease, discrimination, scarcity of resources, war and much more.

Some of you guys supporting the genocidal mass-murderers in this game sound like Q-Anon enjoyers though and it's really funny
"NO HYDAELIN IS THE ACTUAL VILLAIN NOT THESE 3 THAT HAVE MURDERED BILLIONS IN THE HOPES OF BRINGING BACK THEIR DEAD CIVILIZATION"
It would have been so predictable after SHB too so I'm very glad they didn't go with the typical JRPG "kill god" plot.
PLEASE let us see a comment of yours that got -60 downvotes. I'd love to see what exactly you wrote. Betting it's not going to be anything eloquent or mature though.

Considering a search of my own posting history shows 0 results for misogyny, yes, I will say that.I don't think some light pushback against your own harsh comments are equal to 'personal attacks' - and once again, I will point out that in the past you have accused people of 'misogyny' for not liking Venat. You guys are the only ones who can't talk about hydaelyn without calling her "mommy" with your incredibly sarcastic alternating capital letters. Don't think I've ever see anyone do that with zodiark or the ascians.
And if I remember right, you mentioned something about Yoshi-P only making her appear to be a good character because she was female, and insisted that male characters never got enough attention. But I can't find the thread or post that that came from, so my recollection may be inaccurate.

Here's the insinuation in question. It remains a very bizarre conclusion to draw because someone doesn't like or agree with the genocidal mother goddess figure in a video game. As has been explained to you many times, the 'mOmMy' stuff is entirely based around people spamming the chat with just that the moment anything related to Hydaelyn is shown during a Live Letter.Considering a search of my own posting history shows 0 results for misogyny, yes, I will say that.

It's also something of an open secret that male characters are neglected in this game - though it's strange you'd seek to drag points raised in suggestion threads related to more short hairstyles for men/eyebrows for male highlanders into a completely irrelevant matter of discussion.
Thankfully, a wonderful poster was quick to point out how strange such a claim was:I wonder how you'd feel if Elidibus and Venat switched roles, but everything else was the same. So Elidibus caused the sundering, Venat was the heart of Zodiark.
You seem to be real hung on on Venat being a woman. Like.. You just can't let that one thing go, it comes across are rather crass honestly.
Plus, if the Ascians succeeded, all currently living souls lose their agency, through no actions of their own.
This has to be a joke. It's LITERALLY the exact opposite. I mean, Ysh'tola is the least developed scion and has been neglected during all of ShB and Endwalker until the writers changed...
also, lol @ this when some of you are literally stanning mr lahabrea and emet-selch, people that have killed billions all because they can't cope with the fact their society is gone.
"genocidal mother goddess figure" isn't exactly how I'd describe her either, considering how she's literally the only reason the WoL was able to hold off the fascists from taking over all of eorzea. but I'm guessing you agree with Varis or something so you'll find some way to tell me I'm stupid for not agreeing with the ascians

Do you mean character-wise or appearance? Because I cannot say I really agree. There are plenty of really well-written male characters in the game, many of which actually manage to escape stereotypical tropes that RPGs can sometimes latch upon them. Like, in the main cast we have Estinien , Alphinaud, Thancred, G'raha Tia. All very different characters that have throughout the expansions had times to shine. Not to mention the supporting cast with characters like Hien, Aymeric, Raubahn, Ardbert, Hildibrand Helidor Maximilian Manderville ect. Plus the Ascians, the majority of which are male and include the best written character (imo) in FF history. I agree it would be cool to have a more gruff strong-man like character (Who is shirtless most of the time…) and certainly think more cosmetic options for male looks should be added, but I do not see how male characters themselves are neglected.

Hrothgar are still gender locked, the ears were only added like a week ago and third party mods fixed the issue in a week.
Yes they are neglected coz more maid outfits sell over butler outfits on the mogstation.
