I never claimed the art was bad. I claimed what was written was pure fanfiction.

No WoL has fond memories of lahabrea, dude literally wanted us dead before we even formally met his character.

I don't think some light pushback against your own harsh comments are equal to 'personal attacks' - and once again, I will point out that in the past you have accused people of 'misogyny' for not liking Venat. Just to be clear, are you denying that to be the case? I think it's a far worse and horrific insinuation than someone assuming you're incapable of matching a skilled artist.

As for the story elements...I think that you should probably take the time to familiarise yourself with the story, then. Not only did the current patch have our character build a friendly rapport with Lahabrea...during his or her time as Azem they were a member of the Convocation. The art is written from the perspective of someone reacting realistically to learning that they had friends and family members who were murdered by the same individual who not only inflicted genocide upon the civilisation in question but tormented the survivors by allowing them to work in vain for twelve thousand years shouldering the burden of the efforts to reverse something that should not have happened in the first place.

To say nothing of the suffering introduced across Etheirys itself as a consequence of the Sundering. Shortened life spans, susceptibility to disease, discrimination, scarcity of resources, war and much more.

14 gets treated like it's the best thing since sliced bread on every other place that allows you to comment. Reddit, Twitter, Youtube, etc. It's all blind praise and fanboyism. The OF is one of the last few places that allow you to have valid complaints about the game without getting flooded with downvotes.

Besides, devs don't listen to anything other than twitter. May as well air some grievances and get it out there, no?

I think you need to take the time to familiarise yourself with the story of the Dead Ends dungeon. If that doesn't spell it out enough for you, I don't know what will.

It would have been so predictable after SHB too so I'm very glad they didn't go with the typical JRPG "kill god" plot.

Here's the insinuation in question. It remains a very bizarre conclusion to draw because someone doesn't like or agree with the genocidal mother goddess figure in a video game. As has been explained to you many times, the 'mOmMy' stuff is entirely based around people spamming the chat with just that the moment anything related to Hydaelyn is shown during a Live Letter.

It's also something of an open secret that male characters are neglected in this game - though it's strange you'd seek to drag points raised in suggestion threads related to more short hairstyles for men/eyebrows for male highlanders into a completely irrelevant matter of discussion.

I wonder how you'd feel if Elidibus and Venat switched roles, but everything else was the same. So Elidibus caused the sundering, Venat was the heart of Zodiark.

You seem to be real hung on on Venat being a woman. Like.. You just can't let that one thing go, it comes across are rather crass honestly.

Plus, if the Ascians succeeded, all currently living souls lose their agency, through no actions of their own.
