I don't really care if it stays or goes honestly, but outside of being a minor inconvenience that is immediately remedied by true north, what exactly does having positionals bring to the game? From my point of view they don't really do anything. 99% of the time its a completely subconscious action and it adds absolutely nothing to complexity of fights or your rotation. For the majority of the mechanics in savage fights that come up where I may lose a positional I can immediately ignore the situation with true north. You "might" have an argument if they took true north out of the game, but I don't see that happening....like ever. The entire concept is just kind of whatever. Its there, it exists, it doesn't really impede anything and its entire existence for most players is just "ya its a thing, whatever."

I would argue stance dancing has a significantly bigger impact on complexity than positional mechanics.
