Glam Dresser is inadequate, even doubling it does not solve the problem.

I don't like idea having this item unlock in the glamour dresser once obtained system because i don't want glamour dresser be filled with lots of unwanted items that i never use for glamour.

Also demanding FFXIV stop doing content to rewrite the code is really bad idea and could cause not getting any kind of content updates for really long time and even that might not fix the problem what you have with FFXIV glamour system and not forget that game engine it self can be biggest obstacle that prevent FFXIV to rewrite the code to fix he problem what you have with FFXIV glamour system.

WoW's system saves every appearance you get, allowing you to discard the item while still allowing you to use its appearance for glam/transmog. There wouldn't be a clutter of the glam dresser, you'd just have to search for the item appearance and then use it whenever. No inventory space, no clutter, just infinitely better than what we have now.

Square Enix just need to copy the appearance catalogue from World of Warcraft, it's really that simple. The design already exists, just take inspiration and copy it into FFXIV. This allows everyone to keep every appearance they've earned, for items you can trade this would be when they become bound to your character like it is in WoW, and then you can freely use the appearance regardless of keeping the item. It would also make replica relic weapons, for example, redundant as those exist solely so you can hide an appearance away in the glamour dresser to use in sets.

Collecting transmog is surprisingly quite popular in World of Warcraft and some players do it solely as a checkbox exercise despite having no interest in using most of those items for transmog (glamour in FFXIV terminology). You might think this is bad personally but if someone enjoys that, why wouldn't you implement a better glamour catalogue that also just gives some players additional completionist content to do? That's just a good business decision if people are going to play more and ultimately be subscribed more.

I'd rather it be a toggle-able catalogue, tbh. there's so many items ingame that I absolutely hate the appearance of and I don't wanna sift through those to get to the one I want.

We already have paid inventory space and it sucks
Hard not to feel a little extra irritated at how clucky, limited, and messy inventory management as a whole is in this game when I'm paying an extra $4 a month so I don't have to yeet all my extra furniture and glamour

I understand that there are thousands of options within this game, to piece together with other glams to create looks that you are going for.

But that doesn't mean you NEED them all in your dresser.

That is literally what the glamour dresser is designed to accomplish. As a player there is no reason to come up with dumb excuses for an inferior product.
