Yeah...no. I understand that they are human beings and I don't lack empathy entirely, but they should take this feedback for what it is. Harsh, and mostly constructive, criticism. Not saying that everyone is correct in how they handle their complaints, but I'd say that way more than enough of us have said our piece in a way that they should be able to understand. This issue, among other things that have been brought up seemingly a million times already, needs to be resolved asap.I think they let the anticipation of housing wards in ishgard inform their decision of expanding the wards, as well as making the current lotto system that enabled more people to participate. My heart goes out to the devs working on FFXIV so diligently and I'm hoping that they don't take this feedback too harshly. Especially mine since being a long term player of the game, it feels like old problems that never got addressed are just continuing.
Literally my dog ate it over 10 years ago.
Military bred German Shepherd tore open the bug screen on an open window to see if I was home and had a panic attack when he couldn't find me and destroyed my room. I miss that doggo.
As an aside, one of the things that bothers me is that people were very aggressive and insulting about the lack of male viera and gear being gender locked. Mysteriously, that feedback managed to make it to the development team but years of perfectly polite and constructive feedback in relation to various other elements of the game seem to be ignored.Yeah...no. I've said as much before, though a visible presence from our community 'representatives' would do wonders for helping assure players that their feedback is being read and passed along. I made a thread on the subject a while back, in fact:

I feel empathy for them and I understand this is hard work... HOWEVER... Theyve had some consistent misses recently kinda in rapid fire succession. This is a moment of learning for them, if they choose for it to be. Yeah, it clearly has worked in the past. Since our previous approach hasn't been working, well, what choice do we really have?As an aside, one of the things that bothers me is that people were very aggressive and insulting about the lack of male viera and gear being gender locked. I think it's more of the fact that this feedback was very prevalent on Twitter. Where I presume the CMs gather most of their feedback from. In fact, FFXIV is very popular in general via Twitter. Not to mention, male viera could be used as good advertisement, and removing the gender lock is good for PR.As an aside, one of the things that bothers me is that people were very aggressive and insulting about the lack of male viera and gear being gender locked. Thats odd...didn't we just get alot of gender neutral stuff this patch? Pretty sure folks asked for that for one example
My guy you just said they don't have any intention to give us ANYTHING we ask for. Which I have proven with just one example to be false.
Do they give us everything? No. But it's a lie to say they don't intend/haven't given us things we've asked for
