    Just leave them gone. They are halfway there to actually doing something they should have been doing since the start - making jobs interesting to play. Positionals exist as arbitrary busy work and give the illusion of depth. They come at the cost of not actualy having something be mechnically engaging. The developers clearly took the lazy way and the community are begging for it. Crazy to think that in most other MMORPGs a lot players can see positionals for what they are, but not here clearly.

    Guys, it is possible to have amazing melee class design without positionals, you don't even have to believe, JUST GO PLAY LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE!

    And still pointless arguments from the same guy over and over again... "Me so hyped, Mnks Less positionals now, me playing SMN instead!"

    Other games are either action-MMORPGs or sit on <1.5s with a decent ressource-management. Both is engaging compared to 2.5s. With such a slow gameplay, you don't have much options to keep the gameplay fast and engaging. That's why oGCD's and positionals exist.

    How long do you play FF14? Mid-shb? Jumped on a hypetrain? Your old claims about MNK has already been laughable. But always this "Positionals have been bad from beginning" claim, when they clearly worked since FF's re-release and dozens of ppl find them engaging, is just........

    Yeah that's the original sin of FFXIV class design: Slow GCD and took away resource management, requiring convoluted systems to add engagement to play.

    Eh, combos take up a ton of UI space and restrict what else can be done with the class. If a class's difficulty comes from poor UI accommodation instead of deep resource systems and priority systems, I consider that janky masochism not challenging design.

    I do love them all. Not really into SMN that much tbh, but really like WAR and SGE tbh. DPS wise I like MNK and RPR a lot. I mix it up a lot and love to play that way. Crazy that I can huh, all I have to do is pay for the game and hey presto, I can play what I like how i like. Funnily enough the dev team saw things from my perspective without ever probably seeing a single post of mine. But hey, great minds and all that.
