(Which btw, if you think about it, implies them improving is something pretty great so indirectly boosting their own self worth by believing those ultra noob casuals that never improve are a thing)

Increasing extreme rewards wouldnt be a bad idea at the start, but you know if they cant get their way and because they feel entitled to the rewards just like they feel entitled to quick roflstomp runs, in that case they ll start trying to kick everyone who doesnt listen to their superior advice and do exactly what they say, especially since they often fail to communicate appropriately and think they are somekind of leader that gets to command people so of course that attitude will piss people off which might decide to just troll them for their bad behavior.

When I qued for HW extremes even though we had wipes most of us really wanted to beat the boss so we got it down after a few wipes because we learned the mechanics better, everyone improved and beat it, that includes those sprouts and casual players who have no reason to keep failing mechanics since it becomes pretty clear what needs to be done, and there's no elitist going around attacking them or trying to command them.
I assume you're speaking from experience here? My dude, if you haven't set foot in Mentor Roulette, you'll never know how it is. If your assumption is correct, then why is it that Ex fights (except maybe Garuda, Ifrit, and Titan) have such low clear rates? Not to mention that there are some fights that are near impossible in DF. If people improved appropriately, why does the party still fail? It's because they don't. They make the same mistakes over and over and/or instapull and don't read chat. I don't expect people to clear in one go. Heck, I don't expect them to clear in under 30 minutes. And I do get that people make mistakes--we all do. But, dear God, you have no idea how those trials go in DF. My dude, we timed out in dungeons in Mentor Roulette, and that was even after we explained the mechanics.

Mentor Requirements should be alot higher than they currently are, since the amount of bad Mentors is just as bad as the amount of "bad players" they are suppoest to cater to.
Again, it's easy to judge from your high horse. Mentors help--they don't carry.
