"Harrassment" is such a subjective and low bar it's fairly meaningless to talk about. There was an incident in Aether the other day where people were arguing that the songbirds bots were toxic, shortly after they (well someone) chased them off Siren *shrugs*

If it's so meaningless to talk about and "subjective", why does this community constantly gatekeep, and throw a fit whenever WoW players are coming over?

The community as a whole doesn't. But as has been said before there are bad actors in every community *shrugs*

They don't there are tons of guides on reddit for WoW transferees, Zepla herself came from WoW and was welcomed.

No one outright throws fits when wo players come to xiv.

Not only was Zepla welcomed, there's Annie Fuchsia, Rich Campbell, Big Hero Sixy, and a bunch of other WoW players streaming their progress through FFXIV right now feeling welcomed

She was just the biggest example i could come up with. I don't follow streamers for XIV, or in general really.

The funniest thing is, people on the forums tend to hate on XI and people who ask for XIV to turn into that style of game far more than players coming from WoW and asking questions. ( I had a terrible XI experience, so I am one of those people. I barely played WoW, so I have no opinion on it)
