Ganking a player way lower than you repeatedly when they have no chance of fighting back isnt pvp.Makes the choice to roll on a pvp server but gets annoyed when pvp happens.
Its cowardice. Its griefing. It harassment. its disruption.

Show me one person that did like it. I'll wait.I don't think it's fair to suggest that 'nobody' liked to be camped.
See you in 2450.
Only if it's an option on specifically designated Open World PVP servers otherwise 100% no, hard stop. I don't even want to see an option to flag-up on non-PVP realms. World PVP brings out the worst in the general populace without question or exception. Nothing, not even high-end raiding elitism, brings toxicity and horrible behavior to the fore like world PVP.
I love me some PVP and understand the draw of being flagged in the open world (I've been perma-flagged for RP reasons when leveling or hunting flagged low-levels on a low-level twink), don't get me wrong, but XIV's my quiet place to relax and not worry about being ambushed by mobs or players when out in the world.

I totally feel like a gankable and exploitable open world would be detrimental to the solo player experience.
So I propose an optional toggle like function that you'd be able to deactivate only after x time you left PvP combat or immediately after leaving PvE combat.
Something without any kind of rewards, purely for fun if you wish to engage with other like-minded players that wanna engage in random open world PvE.
If you don't you toggle it off and don't miss out on anything, because engaging in this PvP doesn't give any benefits like exp/currency gains (I'm looking at you BfA.)
This way, the player doesn't feel obligated to engage in something they do not like, while being able to watch from an invulnerable position if they want.
Along with this, or, if not an open-world system, then at least a duelling function would be good on it's own, where you can challenge someone for a duel on the target dropdown window.
You would also have to be able to just toggle a function on character settings where you'd auto-deny duels to avoid possible spammers in case that occurs.
In conclusion, I'm an advocate for a bit of fun unbalanced open-world PvP just because of the ability to do idiotic shenanigans while duelling my friends,
idc if a job is broken in comparison to mine or of a tank is unkillable, it's just 2 friends fooling around why balance that?
I'll be honest, I was sad when I tried to duel w/ my friend as a lv19 ROG just for the meme of Hide+Mug(ging) him.

I love open world pvp in mmos.
That said, this game isn't designed for it, and it would take a substantial rework of the game to do so.
The juice is not worth the squeeze here. There are mmos designed around open world pvp if you want that.
