We will never agree.
We will never agree.

Though does it have to be that play? In the end we are all part of the same overall community that is FFXIV. Sure everyone has their own reasons for playing and goals, and often times those may not align with everyone and that is okay. I have just noticed that often some will take that as a means of a personal attack if one does not conform to their desired style of play and I honestly do not get that line of thinking. I get often it is easy for people to jump and make their own conclusions as to why someone may do something, but if the person in question does not come out and state that is the reason why is it that people like to jump the gun and make the assumption in the first place.

As a player it is not my intent to belittle someone when they say they are new or have anxiety regarding something, but it also should not be my responsibility to automatically go down to their level, nor is it my responsibility to take the time to teach them or encourage them. Same can be said if the group wants to go slow and someone wants to go quickly. Just seems like for many being part of a community means helping those in need, and by not helping one is showing a lack of understanding or respect. Maybe I have a differing view as to what a community is but for me it starts and ends at respecting one another. Though respect does not necessarily mean helping when asked or not asked, or slowing down to their pace.

Respect just boils down to understanding everyone is different, everyone has their own goals and desires within the game. Some may be kicked from the group or even leave and sure sometimes it may be because one simply does not like someone in group, but that also does not inherently mean that they do not like the person or view them with contentment. Granted, they might very well but without them saying it I do not get why people are so quick to jump to that conclusion.

Hope that makes sense, having a hard time wording what I would like to say.
