I really wouldn’t put my money on that to be honest. This is just a renamed version of what other people want for placing terrain. It would be a class requiring all other party members to utilize it 100% for it to be useful outside of a cool down.

Between the design teams dislike of pet class balancing and targeted aoe abilities, you pretty much just described their worst nightmare of implementation.

Are you joking me right now? A Luopan is an actual tool used for Feng Shui Geomancy. I was going to get it as a gift for my friend who is in to Feng Shui, and he already had one- he just didn’t realize it was called a Luopan.

I really don’t care what your worst nightmares about it are dude. I’m only taking about the aspects of what makes a Feng Shui Geomancer- not how the job will be set in stone. Like sheesh cry me a river. I’m out- there really is no pleasing you forum dwellers.

Those classes use positionals with their own bodies. It’s not a whole Sacred Soil type ability sir. You want a placed bubble with limited aoe range, in fights that require a lot of movement. That is not the same as a Samurai hitting the back or flank of a boss throughout an encounter.
