Delete Clemency and Vercure

edit: Okay I get what you mean now, the other tanks also have a way to heal themselves is what you're saying, and PLD has no other way to heal themselves beside Clemency. In that case there's imo even more reason to change clemency into an oGCD healing ability with cooldown.

I'm just giving my opinion, you don't need to care about it. There's no need to get personal. The fact that I don't have a job at max has no effect on my arguments whatsoever.

Also, I've got almost all jobs nearing lvl 70 and have been playing since 2.2 so it's not like I'm new.

There's a stark difference between play in levelling duties vs at the end game and the contrast only gets more severe the higher end you go.

Highly doubt those people that are excessively using Vercure and Clemency at lower levels will stop doing that at higher levels, in fact, you'd expect that they'd use it even more with how incoming damage increases.

It's so easy and quick to outgear most casual content that it quickly falls into face roll territory. Leveling dungeons are frequently comparatively rough because you can't steamroll them with way more gear than was intended. Thus why you tend to see people being more skittish or cautious in levelling content vs expert through 24 man.

In that case I have already experienced similar endgame content when both Clemency and Vercure were in the game (I'm a returner and was at endgame in Stormblood) so I have experienced similar content in terms of circumstances you'd use those 2 abilities.

Although I have to admit I don't really remember either Clemency or Vercure being used very often at Stormblood endgame so you might be right with your point.

Yeah. Bardam's mettle for example, I'm not 'against' pulling big if the party can handle it, but I'm less gung ho about doing it out the gate, especially if I'm leveling a tank job that doesn't outgear it yet or the healer doesn't outlevel/gear it yet.

Actually it does, it shows you aren't playing this game in any sort of consistent basis, which says you have no clue about end game rdm or pld. sooo... yea it absolutely has an effect on your argument, it invalidates it.

I meant that it's not like there are new mechanics or abilities that would change Clemency and Vercure use. It's true that I don't know how often those abilities are being used excessively in current endgame so from that perspective my observations aren't really relevant perhaps. Although arguably journey to endgame kind of is most of the game with how long it takes to get there.. But yeah I agree with that classes probably shouldn't be adjusted for older content so yeah idk.
