Then your example falls flat, which is my point. We're talking about dudes that will only play female chars, besides Lalas are small cutesy characters that look like potatoes. There's no sexual appeal involved here and it's harder to prove if there is (not saying that's ok that's legit just as weird). A lot of people play lala (male and female) simply because they're cute and or ridiculous. Males that will only play female chars play them because of sex appeal. We're not the same.

But it wasn't as most males will literally say themselves that they play because "I don't want to stare at a dude's butt all day" "I like looking at women" "Sex sells" and "I'm not attracted to men". Are there dudes that don't play female chars for these reasons? Yeah and I already mentioned them and stated those aren't the dudes we're talking about because those type of dudes aren't that fixated on the female form and there's usually a legit reason why they're playing female the times they do. (Please keep in mind that I'm talking about dudes that will only (or 95% of the time) play female characters)

Idk man the only time people take offense to this type of stuff is when it's partially true lmao. I've heard the "lala people are pedos irl" stuff before and I pay it no mind because I know it's simply not true. It doesn't "hit close to home" to me because there's no home for it to hit.

Also the "It's more appealing" is the same as the other excuses the males give the "I don't want to stare at male butt" it's just put more eloquently.
