Oh, there is proof, and you don't even need to look that hard to find it. I just cannot link, or tell you where to go here, or I'll get banned immediately (and probably permanently). I never said a majority, I said "a lot" just like the same can be said about those guys playing females for eye candy there are "a lot" of those. There are also a lot of people who plays males for eye candy too though, especially in this game. A lot of people are into cat boys, or hrothgar, male hyur, roe, etc...

A lot is subjective, 1 pedo is a lot to me. But I think I got stuff mixed up I originally took the line below as you saying there's that many pedos that I'm ignoring them.

Then you must not have been playing this game long, or purposefully don't pay attention.

However, most males that will only play female characters and absolutely refuse to play male characters, are only doing it for sexual purposes or else it wouldn't even be that big of a deal.

But the guys actually say it...out of their mouths "I don't want to stare at guy butt all day" I can't be generalizing that when they're the ones saying it. "The female form is more appealing to me" is a very eloquent way of saying "I don't want to stare at guy butt all day". I can't generalize by quoting whats being told to me.

Not to mention, again, companies even marketing to this crowd (because it's that large) I mean a common complaint here is that female chars get better glamour than male chars....because it's common knowledge that most males play female chars.

Yeah, that line was about the "blonde hair, blue eyed" thing. I was just saying I do see a large variety of characters, even among the weeb crowd. You probably got confused because I am too lazy to cut quotes and reply directly to that.

Personally, I always go with something different (well I will add I do have defaults, my asian raen, and snow bunny veena are my two main character defaults I play). Currently I went with I think a lesser used cat girl face (you can't see it as I type this..) with strawberry blonde hair, and green eyes. I have been a dark skinned miqo'te, a dark skinned viera, I was once a blue xaela, I have a kind of purple skinned xaela with the fish fins to fantasia too one day (already created, just haven't fantasiad yet), snow bunny viera, and asian raen au ra (dark eyes, blue limbal). Personally, I like to think I am being creative..

For sure, I wish SE would make more stuff for males. They are underappreciated, in my opinion. They don't even get cool hairs. Females have a ton of styles to choose from (as long as they aren't viera LOL), I wish males would get some love, like the warrior of darkness facial hair. Or some manly male viera (one day). I always was in support of male viera..

On the servers I've been on and in the dungeons I've ran, I can assure you different colored skin chars aren't that common (even among female players) even just brown skinned characters aren't that common. People would even make notice of my char and go "Oh you're a brown lala/au ra!" because the most common is white/pale skin. I also personally remember the different colored chars as usually they're really neat and not the norm and I enjoy them.

Tbf it's not even just SE it's a lot of game companies, the only game I can think off of the top of my head that has better glamour/CC for males is Destiny lol. I actually play a male there because the male warlock gear is just that great.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, and if I am please, show me or tell me. but just because you've had bad experiences, you seem to think it's fair to just peg a preference as totally bad and anyone who has it as bad and creepy, even if someone plays a female character for sexual reasons (Which you seem to believe is always the case 100%) Why is it itself bad? that's what I'd like it know

Now companies catering to female characters is annoying, that I won't deny. But that's on the company not the players.

It just bothers me that you'll defend lala's players as not being pedos (I don't think they are either) while seeming to peg males playing females because qoute;"they don't wanna stare at man butt", as borderline predators.
But, like I said maybe I'm wildly misinterpreting, so please explain it to me.

My alt was a black girl miqo'te with white hair (she was cute as heck; white hair looks so good on dark characters and compliments it very well!), then I changed her to an elezen when I was mad about viera and stuff. I think I might make her into a blue or dark purple skinned au ra next with the curved horns. That would be cool. Yes... I uh.. spend money on fantasias for my alt too.... I have a problem... I'd do it right now if I had money.... ALL THE DRESS UP OPPURTUNITIES

Well, ESO has some really cool designs for armor that look great on both male and female, in my opinion. Glamour system is decent in ESO, you can wear pretty much whatever you want. SWTOR had cool sets for both, I used to make outfits on that actually. I wish I liked males in this game. I would love to dress them up *evil grin*... I am just so strict with my male beauty standards. They gotta be handsome, masculine, manly. Tall.. Almost always a human, or elf (SWTOR I did have pure sith boys)..

Regardless of if I had bad experiences or not. Someone that is that sex driven where they have to play females, they will only play females and to the point where some won't even play a game if it's gender locked and their class isn't female...that's weird and a bit creepy. There's no way around that, there's no "Oh I guess it's just preference" that's just down right weird.

Companies do this because of the players because of money. If guys are stating "I only play female because of it's more appealing" and then the women that play may also only play female chars (I've noticed most play female) then guess where a good chunk of the budget is going to go when it comes to costumes and cc resources? To the female models, that only make sense form a pure business stand point.

I never really got deep into ESO so I couldn't really comment on them. I do remember back in the day that male chars had an equal amount of good glam/costumes as well.

Luckily for my wallet I don't really change my character's appearance all that much but costumes.....oh my I have to have all the costumes even if it's just for like one piece of the costume lol.

And it's ultimately on the company, you can't just expect people to stop having a preference because of this, and the preference will forever stick so long as companies aren't willing to budge and risk different choices.


But, thank you for explaining yourself, I see you're really just talking about heavily extreme cases, which I will agree is weird, but I still wouldn't say creepy, cause it might not always be a sexual thing no matter how much you believe it is. so I can agree to disagree there.
