Everyone judges, it's human nature to judge and it's nothing wrong with it. In my personal experience the dudes that will only play female chars aren't dudes I like playing with as things always turns sexual, weird, and creepy.

It depends on what the person judging does, if someone with my opinion only talked about and complained about guys like you, I'd agree and say it's not that deep. However this is a thread about this topic so it's normal to chime in.

You know what I mean tho. Yeah Lalas aren't in every game BUT all a lala is really is a very small young looking character. And those are in almost every game. Is it the best example.. no and I'll freely admit that. But my point was that blanket judgement is covering ALOT of people who aren't those pervs you were talking about. I dunno, I might be taking too much offense to this and I'll admit to that. But it hits close to home cause as I think I mentioned I have friends who do nothing but complain that I use female characters in mmos. And they hate my reasons, which are men/dudes/guys are boring as hell to me. I'm a guy in real life and have NO interest in looking at them for prolong periods of time no matter how zoomed in or out the camera is. If I have a choice I'll always pick the more appealing option. And not because I'm some incel that can't real life. And I'm willing to bet there are alot of guys like me then the pervs who makes all of us look bad. I'm not saying they don't exist... but every time this topic comes up it's ALL people bring up. It gets old.

Then your example falls flat, which is my point. We're talking about dudes that will only play female chars, besides Lalas are small cutesy characters that look like potatoes. There's no sexual appeal involved here and it's harder to prove if there is (not saying that's ok that's legit just as weird). A lot of people play lala (male and female) simply because they're cute and or ridiculous. Males that will only play female chars play them because of sex appeal. We're not the same.

Overall it's safe to say that normal guys with normal non sexual intent don't have these problems, they aren't offended and they don't care because well...they're normal.

Protip: If you play female chars because you're that sexually driven just own it. I've seen dudes say their reason is because they like "tiddies", there's nothing that can really be argued there, is it creepy? Yep but there's nothing to argue. I hate when people do this, there's a societal normal and then there's like sub culture/small groups normal and even smaller. In a large group (I guess societal?), like the gaming community dudes that will only play females chars aren't seen as normal, hence why you're having this "problem". Also when most males state their reason and when it's so bad that games are even catering to it (Like Blade and Soul, that one Ariagames mmo where all the chicks had massive boobs and it was female only) because it makes them that much more money, it's safe to say it's not a blanket statement but just what it is. At this point dudes that only play female chars but not for sexual reasons (which I'm not going to lie I'm not buying that, but I don't know everyone) are outliers, the exceptions...not the rule.

To be fair... I'm not the best with words on forums so I'm sure my points could've been made better but since it's me.. they weren't. And I don't follow the societal normals on everything.. cause to be honest... gamers aren't normal by those standards. That includes you. Usually, people that care about this do it for two reasons:

- Want to feel superior.

- Are desperate to find a partner in a video game and all the dudes using female character make their goal harder.

Because that's what I see mostly. I do not see as many differently colored chars as I see white chars, most chars are white/pale skinned. The off chance I do see a truly unique character the person behind the screen is usually female.
