    Who has more power?

The badass who slays gods, travels across the universe and survives a calamity?

Or the badass who slays gods, travels across the universe, survives a calamity and makes such a lasting impression with her or his outfit that fellow adventurers can't help but reminisce about it on a public forum?

Since glamour has no effect on our ability to be heroes, option B is the obvious choice.

    *chomps on popcorn in anticipation*

So many twists and turns, but yeah. As one who wears the 2P bottoms paired with a nice top. I think why I for one like the look on myself as a female playing female. I think because for one, some of the others that try to pair the look fall short of making it look classy with a hint of sex appeal thrown in. For me has nothing to do with RP. It makes me feel good, same if I got a new outfit irl.

I remember yesterday running to turn in expert deliveries to my GC, Maelstrom. I got a random /tell saying that I should put some pants on. In my own mind I questioned if this person had an issue or was it what I was wearing that was the issue. My conclusion was they had the problem, not me, so I blew it off with an eye roll.

People in game should glam whatever makes them feel good. It's not up to me or others to mull over your choices to begin with. They don't know you, they only think they do.

People wear what they wear for a variety of reasons.

And by the way, we're talking about a game that has subligars as levelling gear. It's not like 2B is the first panties look.

Why do ppl even care what other players wear.

The last time where we see other players in cutscenes is years ago

I sort of get OP's PoV but only regarding the way some Lala characters are dressed.

Ear me out, you do whatever you want with your avatar but.....I don't know, the sexy lala type I come across from time to time....I find it a little disturbing, I get they are adult character but still, they look like 6 years old mini miss contestant oO

This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

Yeah idk, always seems to be a thing. Just let people wear what they want.

    Though...
There is actually one cutscene in ShB where we see other players :P but still

My character dresses relatively conservatively by this game's standards, unless wearing something more skimpy makes sense for the job or context (e.g., DNC / Moonfire Faire). But if others would prefer a character who is scantily clad around the clock, I have no problem with that either, and sometimes it works aesthetically speaking—much like Kaine's over-top-design in NieR Gestalt/Replica.

Like why are you trying to argue when your camp has stated the reason. I then even explained that there's males that play female chars for RP, themes, etc but they aren't ones that refuse to play male chars, they usually don't care.

I'm not talking about gay dudes, lesbians, trans, metrosexuals, or even extremely feminine males. Just normal straight heterosexual males that refuse to play female chars themselves has stated as such, even you stated it. I'm not getting what's so hard to grasp here.
My first reaction was "wait, what??" but then you offered a qualification that I can somewhat jive with in the second paragraph. I'm a straight guy, but I suppose I would qualify as being 'extremely feminine.' I refuse to play male characters in games, because when I have attempted this in the past, I have found it almost impossible to get invested in the game, much less the character. There are some major exceptions to this (e.g., the majority of FF games, though it's no surprise to me that the XIII series and VI are my favourites), what usually happens is that I eventually lose interest because I'm just so nonplussed about my character—this happened even in TW3, which ticked just about every other box I could hope for in a Western RPG. Male characters in any medium—or even in real life—just don't have the 'cool' factor or the aesthetic appeal that I perceive in female characters.

But I don't consider myself 'abnormal' in anything but a statistical sense, and I resist the idea that a given 'camp' can speak for all of its members. If there are guys who are clearly stating that they only play female characters for sexual reasons, then you're free to take them at their word; they don't speak for anyone else, though.
