A new Nvidia driver (441.12) just came out. I tried a clean install and a clean boot but it didn't fix anything for me. Worth a try for other Nvidia users probably.

Worth trying, I don't get my hopes up though... I'll edit my result tomorrow.

Everyone, if you have these issues, I highly recommend you make your own seperate threads as well as posting in here. That way the mods (not sure if automated responses or not) will be forced to message each thread and it will promote more awareness of the crashes to them.

We want to signal boost this as much as we can to get SE's attention and while this big hulking thread is good, making countless individual threads in tandem will most likely grab their attention.

If they receive like 50+ tickets per day from different players for the same issue in a more official way, it may enlighten it quicker. Plus, people without forum account should be able to send it as well.
