DirectX 11 Errors

Still having them after hot fixes but now even worse. Now get them in ARR cities when teleport. Notice happens to me the most if I am in queue at them time. Like today my 30 minute queue about to pop and get dx11 error when teleport to city to buy fc actions. Now when accept my duty and go into it get dx11 errors and before as soon login my character inside a duty instant crash. How am I suppose to cap on my tomes if can't even do a duty with out game crashing from these dx11 errors. You need make this your top priority so player can get back to playing the game again.

Update: The worst has happened. I've always been able to do the non-5.1 content until tonight. I tried teleporting to Rak'tika woods and I crashed (no error, no popup) before even ending the teleport. Now my character is in that zone, but I instant-crash before the loading screen finishes when logging back in. The loading screen appears to be in an endless loop (the image with a spinning loading wheel).

I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO LOG ON AND PLAY BECAUSE OF THIS.

Similarly, I can log onto one of my alts just fine on another shard, but I have not tried bringing him to the same zone as my now stuck character (since he is too low level).

It is quite depressing that I now cannot play my main just before the weekend starts...

Same here. In my case , the game worked just fine even after the 5.1 patch . But today it suddenly crashed while I was flying over Lakeland . Now I can't even log in because it keeps crashing on loading screen . I've tried everything and nothing worked . I tried to log in on like seven different PC and none of them made any difference . I think it's not our problem. I'm sure that game itself is causing this error . This is my guess, but maybe something has gone wrong with our character data uploaded to the server.

Think found what might be causing them for me he has no face and before 5.1 he had his face for me.

A complete reinstall with absolutely no tweaking of graphics settings or resolution, etc results in the exact same problem (crashing upon login before loading screen finishes with no error popup).

Unplayable.

UPDATE: Every PC I used to find problem had window10, so this time I tried logging in with windows 8.1& dx9. Surprisingly, I was able to exit the loading without error, and even succeeded to escape from lakeland. I tested it only for a short time so idk if the problem is completely solved. Maybe the same error may occur again if I stay logged in for a long time, or log in with windows 10. Hope this helps!

Should we try something like launching FF14 with W8 compatibility mode, if anyone can give it a try, don't want to wait 30 more minutes to see if I find a party before crashing... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I opened a SE support ticket they recommended I try launching ffxivboot.exe/ffxivboot64.exe in Windows 7 compatibility mode and that actually let me load into the game for once before I moved into a new area and the errors and crashes started again. I just tried with Windows 8 compatibility and I'm still getting crashes. It's worth a try at least.
