Unable to log character in without immediate crash to desktop

For a few hours this morning, I was able to play the game no problem. I did some new things, and first noticed the crashing when I attempted to teleport to the Goblet. After a few crashes, I had a friend log me in and move me to another zone. After I logged myself back in, I teleported back to the Goblet to test it, and sure enough I crashed. Friend moved me back out, and I figured I just wouldn't go back until I could do a fresh install (as the launcher STILL does not have a File Check option!!).

Moving on, friend and I attempt to enter the new dungeon (which I had already cleared with trusts) and then, suddenly the instant crashing (sometimes a dx11 error, most often not). I was in Eulmore at the time of queuing.

I uninstalled FF14, did a fresh install of the game, restored settings etc., and attempted to log back in. Crash to desktop.
Attempted to log in after switching to Directx9. Crash to desktop, or perpetual loading screen (5-10min of loading, getting nowhere).
Restarted computer. Log in, crash to desktop
Updated AMD drivers from 19.9.2 to 19.10.2. Full restart, log back in. Game continues to crash to desktop.
Am at wits end.

Maybe something in this Info will help. Am losing hope honestly.

A second reinstall seems to have fixed it. Maybe. Time will tell.

Scratch that. A couple hours later and I got another directx 11 error.

Edit: Said directx 11 error occured in the same place twice, in the first add phase of the last boss of the nier raid.

I also can no longer enter the new dungeon (Grand Cosmos) without immediately crashing to desktop with no errors whatsoever. At this point, after two full reinstalls of the game, and a gfx update to the latest possible AMD drivers for my card, I cannot do the new content. Even though I cleared the new dungeon once with no issues earlier on in the day, I can now no longer enter it, and consistently receive dx11 errors at the same phase on the final boss of the raid.

It would be REALLY NICE if there was some acknowledgement of this issue, as I know many others are experiencing similar problems, and some kind of update on it getting fixed.

Your windows 10 version is very old and not supported anymore (17134 = april 2018).
please upgrade to 1909 or at least 1903.

just run the windows download tool and run it on your computer or grab an ISO file and run setup

also on note, did you use RAMCache from asus? its more like advertising speed you dont need. nothing gets faster with it.

Were any updates or changes made to the PC that coincide with the crash? Does Final Fantasy XIV crash when other programs are being run in the back ground? Could you try disabling any back ground programs and overlays? Another thing could try is installing the game on the C drive.

Literally the only thing that changed between my game not crashing and my game suddenly crashing from dx11 errors was the update of FF14.

PS I've spent the last 24 hours updating to 1903, and lo and behold, STILL getting dx11 errors in new content. I feel like I'm wasting my time and it's beyond frustrating. The most frustrating part, is that for some reason I was able to do some of the new content at least once with no issues, and then suddenly I can't do ANY of it.

Reinstalled the game for a THIRD time, as I couldn't think of anything else to do on my end. Actually seemed to work for a little bit, as I was able to run around the Copied Factory instance for a bit, and finished up the Nier questline. And then I zoned out to Kholusia and got Il Mheg music for some reason. I then went to Il Mheg to do pixie dailies, and as I was flying back to the npc to turn in, I got another dx11 error, although this time I was able to make it back online afterwards, but when I went to go into the pixie instance, I got stuck in an infinite loading loop.

For the love of **** with the amount of errors other people are getting, this cannot be solely on OUR end.

This is very similar to my experience. I tried everything I could yesterday to no avail and then I did a reinstall and ran around Il Mheg for a bit before logging out for the night. The next morning I go back to Il Mheg and I get the DX11 errors on login which now makes my character unplayable. I've already tried everything so there's nothing I can do but wait for them to fix whatever graphics bug this is that was introduced with the patch.

Same thing here I even used a back up copy from start of 2.o and updated it to 5.1 and 1 hour later dx11 errors. So far used 3 back up copies and all 3 get dx11 errors with. I did everything they said to do and none of it has helped any. Making it very hard to cap on my tomes for week with all these dx11 errors plaguing so many.
