Hell people complained when NIN got buffed because people still felt it was not enough. I’m not going too say logs has ruined this game because I believe that it can still do some good. However, there is a point where people go TOO far with numbers and need to be reigned in. This is one of those situations. I am not bashing anyone but from what I have been reading, constantly changing the damage goalpost and being upset and annoyed over a power fantasy difference can/will lead too frustration. This needs too be culled and rooted out. Seems too me that players don’t know why they want. So many different competing agendas and it’s getting old fast.
Precise statistics are available on fflogs and it's pretty easy to see that the devs could do a way better job than they did.
Also, it IS a fun factor since some jobs are (potentially or actually) excluded from hc content because they're too weak and some players are asked to switch job for the same reason. I can tell you it wasn't fun for my group to wipe at 1% enrage of e4s first week just because we were running nin+smn and we had to blow millions of gil for overmelded gear just to meet the dps check while we could've easily done it with mnk+blm instead of the 2 aforementioned job. The "viable" excuse needs to stop, it's just pathetic.
