Mention FFLogs and that you're parsing someone's DPS in game and I *will* report it. Very quickly in fact. That's been explicitly against the ToS forever.

I'm so happy that FFXIV doesn't allow parses to be used in game. Was a part of a dungeon run in WoW a few days ago where we were burning through the dungeon, but the tank would list everybody's individual damage after every boss. Then they demanded we kick one of the DPS who was doing little damage (because they were trying to figure something out with one of the skills). I mean, we had zero trouble, we could have just kept going, but because the numbers demanded it the group kicked the DPS otherwise the tank was going to walk.

It's just stupid. There are so many nuances that numbers don't account for.

I was a tank, have been kicked for typing and asking for mechanics before first boss. xDD

I've seen many a FF-XIV tank drop group the moment they saw s/o type "first time" in a dungeon, which then lead to aborted runs because no replacement showed up.
Morons exist in every game.
