Is there a limit to the free fantasia event?

I've been playing this game for 5 years or so. Could I in theory pre-buy like 3-4 years of sub with the promotion and get a buttload of free fantasias?

Or are there some limits in place that I missed?

Also, are the time-cards giftable or do they lock onto your account right away? I could easily see myself buying like 5 years worth of codes and gifting some of them to friends or such.

I feel like there's no downside to this event. Is there a catch? It feels like I could scoop up all the fantasias I could ever want and it wouldn't cost me extra beyond what I already pay for my sub.

Yeah, I thought about that. It is a lot to pre-pay for. But if Stormblood and Eureka told me anything. It's that even if I don't feel like playing the game. I still have to pay for it (to keep my house). So I figured they got me sunk for at least another 2-3 years anyways. Unless they pull a Blizzard or Bethesda and betray the player-base. But honestly, given how great Shadowbringers was. I have faith that my 3 years wouldn't be wasted.

I bought one. I got a confirmation email with a link to my codes, you can give the codes away at that point if you wanted. Unsure if there is a limit to how many you can buy.

I am unsure what to do regarding this event. I usually buy the 6month one since it saves a bit of money and i have no plans to unsub, and i have never changed my toon's race since i joined and probably never will, but i am going back and forth on if it is worth it so i can make changes to my toon not on the aestician if i ever wanted to. I worked out the cost this is how it breaks down.

6month sub single purchase no fantasia: £46.14
6month via 3x offer purchases with 3 fantasia: £53.94
3x fantasia cost: £16.10

So if i get the 6month via this offer for the fantasia and never use them i have spent £7.78 extra for nothing.
On the other hand if at some point i use fantasia i have saved £8.30 by having the three instead of buying them at a later date after the offer ends.

I settled on 30. I had some issues with my last viera, I ended up wanting longer ears, made her slightly shorter (was at 50 before on my rava). I didn't think I'd make her a pale veena, but I did. I'm going to try to stay this character permanently though, I need to stop switching.
