By all means the devs have made missteps, but you all are forgetting one things. While you all stand here screaming homogenization, insulting devs and their design choices, boycotting, insulting each other’s ideas. You are trivializing the whole issue.

Think of it like this. If you made a decision that no one else liked and those people came to you and started screaming at you, insulting you and your decisions, threatening you, etc etc etc how would you respond? Most people would tell that person to take a flying leap off a short cliff. I know i would.

So while I understand hearing just wait and try it just wait and try it is not comforting or reassuring at all. Try not throwing a fit and actually make posts about legitimate concerns and ways to address them. Present them politely and present them as opinions. And realize reverting changes is not going to solve anything come up with new and inventive solutions to give the dev team ideas. Stay positive through the change and dont delve into the salt mines

Square Enix has a history of listening to salty screaming and polite feedback alike when it comes to SCH mains and, belatedly, AST mains. I don't see why they should ignore history for the sake of your sensibilities when there is a reasonable chance of getting back some of their job identity.
