I still think based on the french screenshot find that this is less likely, since Viera and Hrothgar were coded the same as every other race.Hmm so when I was thinking there would be 'two different races' that are gender locked, it would be two different options to select from (Like Selecting Miqote or Hyur). However, it just dawned on me that what htey may end up doing is putting two races into one category and gender lock that way. So when you create/phantasia your character, its not Viera as one and Hrothgar as another, but both of them are part of some category (Lets call it Fuzzy People for clarity). So you select Fuzzy people and within that you have male Hrothgar, and Female Viera. Two races in one category.
If they did that, (and that might be something they would do) you can kiss any chance at Male Viera or Female Hrothgar good bye.
well.... maybe. They haven't given us a date for part two of the 4.5 MSQ only the vague "late March" timeframe
We know that Fan Fest is March 22, so they could drop the patch on March 19. Granted that's more of a "mid March" type of date, but it would make sense to get it out ahead of the Fan Fest for exactly that reason.
It’d be kinda weird to group 2 very different races as even back in 1.0 locked races had their own tabs.Hmm so when I was thinking there would be 'two different races' that are gender locked, it would be two different options to select from (Like Selecting Miqote or Hyur). Viera are from the woods south of Dalmasca. There is no mention of Hrothgar being from Dalmasca (or Othard in general) as far as the lorebook/in-game text goes and assuming they are inspired by Ronso and/or take their name to heart, they’d be from somewhere cold (possibly closer to Garlemald in northern Ilsabard) so they wouldn't really fit under a location tab. “Alliance” and “Resistance” fall under the “Fuzzy people” level of generic-ness so I don’t think they’d work well either.

If there is one thing I've learnt from this thread is that people like calling gay guys homophobes. lol

Guy butt is best butt <3
Pretty sure that Yoshi said 4.56 would in all likelihood roll out after Fanfest, i.e. on Tuesday in the following week (March 26th).well.... maybe. They haven't given us a date for part two of the 4.5 MSQ only the vague "late March" timeframe

I mean, its super easy to tell if someones gay on the internet and its completely impossible for a lgbt person to be homophobic, right?Wish SE knew better than to invite a discussion about gender by not showing male Viera. This thread is terrible.
