Gender locked race?

Demonstrably false. I really wish this lie would stop being repeated so much.

Also now that I think about hrothgar, they might be a dead race. That is, this was somethign they were planning on implementing and possibly canceled on relatively recently due to other limitations or time. We may not get a race beyond Viera, but old code was put into place regarding it.

Typically things don't make it to the localization phase just to be cut. Especially something like a player race which needs a ton of work on the art and animations asset side. You wouldn't get to the stage where the localization team needs to start putting not just the race's name but also descriptors such as noticeable features.
