This seems like a strange addition to add into the game. Consider Aura, they didnt go back and edit in Aura into the class quests lines. Its a weird place to insert lore; most of your player base wont see that tidbit.

If it's modded game files, don't do it - at least if you knew it was modification of the game. If it's photoshop (and not content that might be age questionable) then yeah it's fine. Although you might get in trouble if you just start image dumping and not talking lol. Also consider if people's names show up if it's in game (name tags), depending on circumstance people might claim you were calling them out.. So maybe blur our character names unless it's abundantly clear it's not a call out. Artist's signatures don't count, I just mean don't be like "this Viera is awful" and there is some person's name above it from the in game screen grab lol.
The above is probably overly sensitive but safe is good.
Comparing two archives, also some people would probably make change logs to search through later (big lists of things that were touched, very big lists).
I've been wondering if they're going to revisit some 1.0/2.0 areas. There is more of Coerthas.. And the restoration of Ishgard is something that is considered to be happening through 5.0. Then it would not be so weird to have dialog fixed up for a race to be in those areas.

I considered thta there might be something that brings us back into the local areas, but again, this doesnt make sense from what Im reading here. This mention is within a class quest, not a region thing. Most of the player base will probably have seen this quest if theyve gotten PLD so they would never encounter this dialogue. So why would they insert it in here. Its a strange design choice which raises more questions about this. Also, adding it in in December also makes little sense broadly. A one off lore bit to something that has 0 reference in any other part of the game, not mentioned in any dev commentary, and were only paying attention to this because of a recent leak: Its all very unusual and something isnt adding up in that respects.I've been wondering if they're going to revisit some 1.0/2.0 areas. Hmm might not post them then. It sucks cause they're actually really good edits/photoshops/mods/whatever it is they are. They're kind of like artsy screenshots taken in gpose, so the image itself doesn't show any names but I think I'll steer clear of them. Hopefully when they add male Viera people won't have to resort to breaking the game rules to get to play as them, cause mods in a single player game is one thing but in an mmorpg that's another story. If it's modded game files, don't do it - at least if you knew it was modification of the game. This is someone's drawing that I thought looked really cool, especially if we get something like this hairstyle when they're added:

Maybe SE is making the game a little bit more "immersive" when it comes to your race of choice and some NPCs might acknowledge that. It might even be a way of them saying "Hey, you, come check the New Game+ feature we're adding this expansion because now you might have some race specific interactions on it as well".
That or they might do something similar to how beast tribes progress work. As in: The map looks different based off your reputation with said beast tribe, and it doesn't conflict with the "immersion" of someone else's progress.
So maybe based off your progess on the mainstory, we might finally see Au Ra, Hrothgar and Viera NPCs interacting to the other races on areas introduced prior to their release.

That specific GLD quest makes mention of your race's characteristics no matter what. Au ra received a comment when they were added, and viera have also had a line added that references their ears.
