No I don't. Gil isnt winning anything. I guess I've payed to win for years if we gonna say retainers is pay to win lmao.

Once you got your house (if you into that) gil serves very little to no purpose. Aside from teleporting what do you guys spend your gil on that you wouldn't be able to craft?

With Gil you can't only buy a house, you can buy crafted equipments and materia to make pentameld equipment that is normally the bis equipment for the first weeks of the raid and when ppl is desperately trying to be the first to clear, so yeah Gil matters.
And the retainer advantage isn't just 20 more slots for selling, retainer can bring you materials back through the venture system, so you don't need to go get them yourself and with 8 retainers (9 with the app?) they can bring you enough material to even do some spirit bonding without much work. You can just netflix and chill on the whole process.
Oh yeah and Gil can also buy the super expensive mounts (like HoH mount that u need a lot of dedication to get) and the expensive cloths from the new aquapolis thing (i forgot the name of it, but that is also a pain to get)
