If they did that, it would destroy the whole point. You are supposed to grind not power level. It would make the people that like Pagos not like it. Relics are meant to be a grind. The early relic steps in Anemos were laughably quick, once your character had elemental level 20.

Slightly increasing chain times would help some (so people can type), but lowering HP hurts the grind. Some people want to grind. There is a great deal of old school mmo nostalgia that goes with it. It goes back to a time where you only join a group, when you know you have a least an hour to play. 2 hours was the average. They don't comment on the forums, because they don't want to deal with the hate they could receive. It's an echo chamber in here. The last thing Pagos needs is a nerf.

Ah yes the Nostalgia of waiting an hour just to get a group together because SE in their infinite wisdom has made it so that unless you are within a level of each other your exp is nerfed into oblivion. Or the nostalgia of your chain being ruined because all of a sudden another group decides to set up camp near you and take your mobs, or perhaps the nostalgia of your wrists hurting and you dying of boredom because you can't even get up to go to the bathroom because doing so ruins your chain. This kind of nostalgia makes me glad I decided to play vanilla WoW instead of FF11.

You still need 31 crystals to finish a single weapon. Shaving some health off mobs wouldn't make people finish their relics in 10 seconds.

And some don't. If this was some optional zone where people want to go back to 1999 and do their thing, then fine. But they tied our relic to it. That's the biggest issue. We have no choice but to do content we hate.

Nobody is asking for it to just be handed over. They're asking for it to not be tied to content nobody would ever do otherwise because it's so badly designed and thoroughly unengaging.

It is not badly designed at all, though. You just don't like it. Funny how a small part of the people (all on the forums) want content to 100% focus on them, aside from raid content. If it doesn't focus on them, it must be bad!

I don't raid, so as a casual this is like the big piece of content that is supposed to be for me. Thus far I've found about three whole people, either in the game or on the forums, that actually think it's a good piece of content. Compare that to the swarming throng of people who dislike it. I'm glad you're getting a hit of nostalgia from it, but nostalgia isn't content and does absolutely nothing for those of us who weren't playing whatever other game you're nostalgia-tripping over. A game should focus on pleasing its players, not another game's players.
