I don't think most people even look at who's being kicked, let alone question why, unless there's a chance it's someone in their group.

If the person is, then s/he won't be kicked. If not, s/he will be.

Corruption wins in FFXIV. You can preach your good from your heart, but all you will get in return on these forums is a snide, and short click baiting comment. They know they are doing harm, but don’t care, so the moment you post something like this, the people who don’t care rush to upvote said comment, and make sure the person regrets posting. Don’t think that when people inevitably move on that it’s over. Any time you make another thread, people will quote you, and remind you that they don’t like you, and what kind of a person they think you are. This is the mob mentality.
