Na it is a good idea. With banning a large portion of the playerbase, you would also get rid of housing drama and housing shortages. Clearly with "server limitations" there is too many players for the servers to handle, so why not just allow the best players play the game?

And those would now be replaced with people that complain about the content, or lack thereof. But let's ban those too, let's just ban everyone
