Please explain to me which Is the side of a circle AOE.Don't run away. Run to the side. Find the gaps. Melee range has a 5 yalm reach, which is larger than would be expected. The GCD is ~2.5s. Combined, that's quite a large distance that needs to be covered to prevent being able to use a weaponskill on every gcd. It's extremely rare in trash pulls for there to be anything large enough to warrant running out of range long enough to lose even part of a gcd. Toads are the only thing that really comes to mind.
But more to the point. Please explain which is the side of a circle

I think Tolby is a pretty cool tank. Eh pulls groops and doesn't afraid of anything.
well it's Sunday...
ITT: bad melee dps complains that he's bad. Someone who plays melee often enough knows the effective range of their abilities and can dance quite skillfully through almost any number of AoEs, if not they need more practice with more ballsy tanks. But this is a troll thread and nothing will be learned or gained but it's almost 6am and I'm bored so whatever
Yeah even the aoe spamming in Skalla is not as bad as you're making it out to be, and even casters have to move since those aoe's drop on them too. In the other experts ehhhhh nothing stands out. A smart tanks will bunch them up together tight as possible to reduce the aoe spread, so I'm thinking you had one that didn't? If the tank is actually keeping themselves in their tank stance and actually using their cooldowns in turn then healers won't sweat at all even at the biggest possible group you can pull in Skalla.
Also SAM has a stupid-simple AoE rotation, like, not scatter-spam levels but yeah you should not be having problems there.
Just an FYI, but "Join date" means when you signed up for the forums and has nothing to do with when you started the game. For example, I've had a FFXIV account since 1.0's CB, but it says August 2013 on the forums because I didn't bother to sign up for them until ARR's launch.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Can we, at long last, do away with this nonsense talking point? Tanks pulling the right way--as opposed to being an outright meatball--tend to finish within 20 to 25 minutes. More tanks really need to stop caring about other people's FFLogs scores and actually do their jobs the right way.
