Sorry I just don't feel like having a 30-minute run of Skalla...
Sorry I just don't feel like having a 30-minute run of Skalla...
Oh it's the latest thing, Pull boss 1 to boss 2 and so on. Why I use RDM to cap my tomes these days and heal mostly with FC.
I had that last night... The other DPS and healer kept dying on boss fights too (because mechanics, no issues on trash). After it became clear he wasn't going to pull more than one pack at the start of the dungeon, I decided if he can do bare minimum, I would too to make it less boring. So my new rule is if the tank pulls single packs, I don't use any enmity abilities on BLM. Going to make him work for enmity if he's going to make me work to stay awake.
Can we, at long last, do away with this nonsense talking point? Tanks pulling the right way--as opposed to being an outright meatball--tend to finish within 20 to 25 minutes. More tanks really need to stop caring about other people's FFLogs scores and actually do their jobs the right way.
Only 30minutes? I just finished a 45min skalla run because my DPS wanted to single target EVERYTHING regardless of how much I pulled. And they were not the best players.
I was left in awe at how low the bar could be set.
Happened to me last week the final boss in itself took 15 minutes because the 2 DPS in my group were so bad and kept dying to everything, I was on War and I had a Nin and a Rdm who refused to AoE. Turned a 15ish minute dungeon into a 45 minute dungeon because of their single target DPS and never once touched their AoEs, c'mon guys just hit the freaking button!
>Pull everything in each segment
>Double regen/pop cd on tank
>DPS aoe
>Be done in 10-15 minutes tops
