I feel like raiding is pointless in this game

The mechanics ARE ALL EASY to memorize in o3s. It BLOWS my mind that people still take 5-6 seconds trying to decide if they should go north or south for AOE/stack markers. You either have a stack marker/no marker and go south, or you have an aoe marker and go north. Your brain should process this in about 1 second. The fact that the majority of the player base's brains work ridiculously slow doesn't make the fight itself hard.

So yes, the fights are easy. Finding a group of 8 people who can think quickly and can memorize a mechanic they have died to 100 times, is the only real challenge to raids in FFXIV.

I agree, it's totally frustrating :/
