It sounds like burnout to me. Personally I think those who raid should consider themselves lucky to be able to do so in the first place. I have been unable to find a reliable group of people to raid with consistently in the three years I've been playing on Balmung. I can do some content through the party finder, of course, but that lacks the social element that comes with raiding alongside the same people each week.

You should try to accept other opinions.
I'm merely suggesting people re examine their ideas of "easy" if "easy" is something 99% of the players in the game struggle with it's lost it's meaning.

I think it is from what the TC said and sadly the whole game does this. There is no reactive, and sometimes you can't because the servers are slow + the server move making it worse, you have to know the fight and know what is to come so you do not take lag hits. When I dodge something I do not feel proud I reactedcorrectly, I feel relieved that lag did not get the best of me, so when you beat something, instead of being overjoyed you beat it, it is more like god that is done, so happy lag did not get me now time to roll on my gear.

I know this is a different game and I am not sure how people will value the comparison, but I play splatoon. I may do the same 2 maps every 4 hours but the the thing is each match is different, even with the same people. I am reacting different, I need to be aware, and every time I win its like "yes I pulled that off" or "epic comeback, shocked we pulled though. Sometimes carrying there can feel exhausting, but you still feel challanged.

Here when I carry its like "GOD let this be over already!!!!!!!" it is not really a challenge but more of an annoyance, esp when you enter a premade (ok non savage reference but still) and they kick you because you can't carry their healer (while having a failed tank swamp leading to oneshot ugh)

Basically I think the game needs more randomness, more focus on visual indicators, not "oh i know when this is coming, oh I know it is doom > fire > ice > fire (where you need stop moving > ice need to move x2 (thunder III aoe somewhere)

Fodder should be more than just that and dungeons shouldn't follow such narrow guidelines, be more dangerous and have higher tier rewards.
Hm, this brings up a good point. Almost every major fight in this game consists of fights against a single boss with a large set of mechanics.

I started playing after HW release, but I went back to do Coil and noticed how different it was compared to Alexander (and all of HW, really). Many Coil instances had a dungeon-like prelude of sorts before the actual boss itself. One coil instance was essentially a dungeon in itself! So why has SE shifted away from that kind of design towards something that's really more like Trials that are just called raids?

Right not everyone is lucky enough to have a static or a FC which regularly raids. Maybe having a static of nothing but top players would make a couple of these fights seem a little too easy, but that's not changing the reality of the difficulty at all, it just means you had excellent players and nothing but who knew what to do and had the fight down to a science.

Sometimes I feel like they need to bring in content on the scale of Dynamis from FFXI >.>

We don't even have a proper raid yet...but I agree the 8 man dungeon is pointless so I skip it. Maybe I'll do it for the story at some point but meh...really looking forward to the 24-man Alliance RAID though.

I use to be hardcore back in the day ,and am generally casual to midcore at best these days. Even so I find raids to be headed toward the easy side of things. If there is no challenge there can be no sense of accomplishment. I will most likely never do savage because that part of my life has come ,and gone. This being the way of things I do think savage needs to be tuned toward the hardcore players since it is intended for them. If they are clearing it the first day or even week it may be that it's too easy. You should have to form a group and practice to overcome anything considered HARD HEROIC or SAVAGE otherwise why bother. There is a rampant sense of entitlement in this game that causes everyone to think they deserve to complete/collect everything. To these people I ask where is your pride? 'Don't beg for things. Do it yourself, or else you won't get anything.' should be the motto of the dev team at this point. You can tell things are headed in a bad direction when dungeons are more dynamic than raids.

I think you guys are missing the point that endgame changed. Savage is less important than before, since the true endgame will be the Super Savage combat.

Now we're just gearing up for Super Savage, so early quitters/MMO jumpers won't get a chance to beat the true endgame because the lack of Savage gear.

Just keep gearing up >_> we'll see if it's worth at 4.1
