Ah ok that makes sense then. If you have the option to use PC I'd suggest it then. If using the controller is just a preferred choice there are programs that allow the use of a ps4 controller on pc. I have used them for other games myself
Try 19 deaths and still clearing (on day 1 nonetheless). The fight is so insanely forgiving if you hit enrage either you've had a ton of deaths, or most of your party is barely doing their jobs.
19 deaths in 310 gear , hmm it has to be something wrong then , Ive seen enrage on under five deaths maybe even three granted yesterday was my first time jumpin in there and it was mostly learning or clear groups . But I couldnt picture clearing with 19 deaths , but then again Im not a dps main so i dont have a clue.
I wish SE would ban accounts without warning for using parser just like SEGA.

How about no?I wish SE would ban accounts without warning for using parser just like SEGA.

Considering Yoshi P basically said using a parser is fine as long as your discrete about it to suddenly start banning people would be stupid if they want to change their stance then should give a warning....
Not gonna happen lol. You seem to hate parsers more than SE does. They've literally stated they plan to turn a blind eye to the use of parsers with the exception of harassment with it- which is a case of harassment more than a parse.I wish SE would ban accounts without warning for using parser just like SEGA.

In 2.0 I used to be scared of parsers. I was a terrible terrible SMN and I knew my numbers weren't up to par by any means and whenever someone in voice chat was talking about parses I'd beg and plead not to hear my numbers because it was easier to just be in my own bubble than trying to get better. C'est la vie.
Ffxiv as far as I know is a very popular mmorpg with a heavy focus on raiding. On a mmorpg with focus on raiding there will be always parsers, there has to be, especially if you are going into savage difficulty.
SE decided to not "acknowledge" them, especially to protect its casual community, which is fine, completely understandable, but if FFXIV continues with the same plan of keep up with savage difficulty raiding, then they always will "accept" Parsers as they should. And the ppl that keep saying that "NEVER TO PARSERS" its because you dont do Savage type of content. You need to have it in order to improve, it is a very very useful tool, period.
I know will never have it , I just wish that we could have an end result of dps at the end like in pvp that way if you got dps dealing less damage than tanks then you know whats going on. Yoshi has said hed never allow parsers, but sense half the playerbase is ps4 users we at least need to know our ending dps , then we could know how much dyin effects it , or downtime etc. They could even just let it be for raids and ex primals and leave dungeons out of it , they just really need to do something the way things are now and to have a 9 min enrage is just dum imo.
My opnion DPS are the ones who could make the most use of parses followed by tanks. Healers just don't need them they are useles too healers, if your keeping people alive have good mana effiency and low overheal your good. As for dps a healers dps rotation is pretty much a one button spam. My dps rotation as AST is nothing but Combust/lord of crowns(if its up)/spam Malifec/Refesh combust(repeat). Gravity is only worth casting on packs not single target enemies and do to its long cast using lightspeed is helpful.

none of these fights are tuned so tightly that we need a parser to show you how well your doing.
