GLA needs an option besides just tanking, as the number of DDs allowed in a group can exceed the number of tanks.
Similar with CNJ, since it will be forced into a healer role only, it will need some sorta DD attached. (I vote for RDM)
As for a DW GLA job, the only things to come to mind are NIN and THF, which does leave an issue to the equipment worn. Since armor is lost.

when they bring out a second job for a class. if they wanted to make a DD for GLD, they could use dark knight or samurai. both would more suit GLD than thief

Samurai would work better for a GLA Damage Dealer Advanced Job or Even Dark Knight.

i remember some talk awhile back that Executioner was being considered as the scythe class, dont remember where i saw it.

but i would rather see Dark knight on the Scythe or Two Handed Sword class.

as for Samurai, Gladiator doesnt have katanas. ;/

the talk of Executioner came about coz the JP video had one in it. we found out that Executioner is what the japanese call MRD. so there will be no Executioner job.

i also think GLD should get samurai or dark knight. and think all GLD's will feel a bit short changed with a thief
