I solo healed Titan EX within the first week of it's release, cure 3 was absolutely required.

And to counter the 'WHM's extra HPS isn't required argument; correct me if I'm wrong here, but balance isn't required in current content either right?

(And yes, I appreciate that extra DPS is far more desirable than extra HPS)

Extra HPS does nothing for a group-- you can't "overheal" people at max HP. Extra DPS goes quite a bit further especially since with an AST you have that option, with a WHM you don't.
