^ so much thisSeeing as though some players have been banned (temp and perm) for what some would consider trivial reasons better dealt with by less extreme methods (e.g. using profanity in a game that has a profanity filter set to default, using a macro with more than 3 lines, rolling need in a greed only party - I've seen streams and had friends this happened to) SE's whole banning process needs serious revision/oversight. It seems based upon what mood the particular GM is in who is reviewing the case rather than strict guidelines.
How would you feel about getting a 9 day suspension just because you sent a tell to a person harassing you to stop? My friend is still fighting with the GMs about it, 6 months later because how unfair it was.
