"What gear will you be battling over?"
"It's in the same section as MNK"
"So all you NINs, breathe a sigh of relief"
How can you interpret that to be sam not sharing gear with mnk?
I'm supper happy Sam is a DPS.
next class better be shogun :[
I admit i'm really really salty at the moment.
As a tank (and i honestly think a lot of healers feel the same thing) this is a spit in the eye considering that we are literally asked to keep dragging the entire dps population with the same classes for the next years.
Yoshi admitted that since the introduction of a new tank class didn't attracted new player to tank role they dropped any semblance of support to other roles outside the oh so precious dps
and this
is simply wishfulll thinking.
The overhaul IS NOT a complete and utter change on how class play or act, the basic of each class (paladin being the most defensive, warrior the more prone to dps etc.) will not shift what we will get will be less skill for making room to the coming years and expanions.
All I can say about the Samurai being DPS is....Enjoy your hour long of queues! I'm sticking with my warrior.
PS: jokes aside, a shame since that if samurai was going to be a tank, I might've tried the expansion on launch at least to try it out. I guess I'll just wait for a discount and wait the first patch before purchasing (Don't want to repeat HW mistake).
Toodles
Like I said in another thread. Tank and healer mains will still want to lvl up to 70 asap and they'll queue normally. NIN was a problem because it came out on 2.4, way late into the 2.0 "expansion", and everyone already was lv50 (except newbies duh) with nothing to lvl up but ONE new job.
