I don't know about that. There's a lot of things about raiding that are intentionally done to make it as inaccessible as humanly possible. You say all you need to do is jump into raid finder and go...but that never works. You'll be sitting in a queue that never fills because of all the restrictions and punishments for trying to raid. After my raiding hours for the week I've tried using raid finder for some extra practice in things like A11s and A12s...it never once even half filled, even after entire days in the queue. The problems that create such ridiculous lack of participation in raiding are pretty unnecessary and only serve to force people into dedicated statics or GTFO:
1. You can only access a floor if you have cleared the previous floors, per week. Get rid of this BS. Once you clear a floor, it should be cleared forever, like all other content in the game. You only need to go back to it to get your weekly drop. This is the single biggest thing that makes q'ing for things like A12s an impossible waste of time. The only people even capable of q'ing for A12s are people who have already cleared A9s, A10s and A11s that week. Almost nobody falls into that category who isn't already in a static and in no need of raid finder.
2. Anyone who has cleared for the week is only punishing anyone else they try to help due to the reduced loot drop for them being there. Get rid of this BS. This is the second biggest reason no one is in the queue and no one wants to help others.
3. Anyone who clears is locked out of loot no matter what they got or didn't get. Get rid of this BS. Savage should work the same as all other weekly lockouts. You are free to keep doing the content until you actually get something.
As long as these three unnecessarily harsh restrictions are in place (restrictions that do not exist in any other content in the game), raiding will remain a pointlessly gated, extremely inaccessible area of the game that only people with very specific pre-made groups can actually do reasonably. I got lucky, most people do not. Raid Finder past A9s doesn't work. At all.
