Nah, my first point is definitely not a playerbase issue. The number one reason you don't get queue pops for A12s is because almost nobody who would want to queue for it CAN queue for it, even if they wanted to. The type of people using Raid Finder are generally not the type of people clearing this stuff weekly. They're the ones just trying to get through it one time and get one clear. If they lifted this weekly clearing of previous floors restriction and nothing else, you would see the queue times for all turns of Alex drop drastically. They sure wouldn't be instant, but I would say they would be about what EX primals queue times are - a couple hours maybe. Which is bearable, and at least functioning, unlike now.

Have you tried advertising on pf? I often see people on there either looking for a stand-in because one of their static team is away that week, or people who's static I guess have recently broken, looking to be the stand-in if a team needs them. I would imagine you'd have more success this way than with RF. It's also one of the best ways of finding a static you fit with (if you're looking for a static). One of our static is going to have to leave the group shortly due to irl responsibilities, we already have his rep lined up, someone who has stood in for missing people with us before, so he already knows all our strats etc

I raid just cause getting together with 7 relative strangers at the beginning, and then slowly becoming best friends as time goes on and we get further and further into the savage content is honestly the greatest thing in the world

I can't confirm this point of view.

On my twink I was trying to queue up for all modes of practise and clearing without cleared before and it was an endless queue.

Then I did clear A9S and A10S on my twink with my static to get the option to select "cleared" in the raid finder and since then I'm weekly clearing A9S and A10S on my twink with moderate wait times.

    "cleared" = moderate wait time
"not cleared" = endless wait time

If your point would be correct, it would be the opposite.

Next will be getting the "cleared" state of A11S as I now reached the minimum iLvl to queue for it and then take a look how this works in RF.

I can not say im a good player after all but always have bad luck when i try to enter a static, and usually i use raid finder, i did with it Sophia Ex (training and try 5 days) and with 2 days i take 10% a9s. Today i go with a static who wanna prove me to A10s and i can not (into static) enter even the boss finally had 3% and this was my first time on it.

I agree sometimes and some statics are a bit elititsts, maybe i can learn and do it well in four o even three days to practise, but with only one or two hours... i can't, and im sure other people can, but me not.

So i surely will do it a9s, a10s... i can't say a11s for awhile... but i need some days. So people like me needs Raid Finder, is the only option to raid and do the things.

I raided in 2.0 because I like to learn challenging content and I like to play with my friends. Unfortunately a good number of my friends at the outset of this game lived in Europe. Which meant that when it came time to learn the Twintania fight, half of our group was at an almost insurmountable set-back because of high latency issues.

By the time Final Coil came around and I had seen 4 raid groups crumble into overly dramatic dust I just didn't want to deal with it anymore.

And then 3.0 rolled around and it was clear that the Devs had the wrong idea about what raid content was. Initial alexander savage, with it's dps/hps requirements that were so stringent the gear necessary to meet them wasn't even available yet made a very clear statement, "We are making content with our ego, not with creativity."

Throw in a year absence and the really stupid tomestone system and I can't summon the energy necessary to even gear up enough to be an asset to a raid team rather than a hindrance.

SE complied to the majority players' demand for harder raid tier, obviously FCoB was a tad too easy IMO, just seeing from the clears alone. You can't really blame SE for complying to the demand, they delivered and most of the players couldn't cope. Obviously so much for the bragging right that "FCoB ezpz pls give us harder challenge". It was the ego of the players that crumbled the raiding scene, SE admittedly walked right into the "provocation" but the skillgap was the main issue because SE probably thought the players' skill were good enough to challenge even harder contents and thus how Gordias Savage went about. SE has toned down Creator by a good amount and players who raid even casually have a good chance to clear it reliably enough.

I would like to see class/role based lockouts and loot drops. It was incredibly hard for me to get a9s/a10s clears through raid finder when the new raids were released for two reasons, most people don't know what they are doing and the wait times and success rates are so bad most people don't even bother trying to queue. If people were able to run a raid more than once a week in different classes it would solve both these problems, more people would queue and they would know mechanics. The content is so easy a static isn't required, yet the player base is spread so thin that getting a queue to pop in a reasonable amount of time does require a static.

I stopped raiding because I'm too lazy. It gets replaced too quickly and feels pointless to me. I can deal with that in moderation. So, I only focus on tome gear mostly. I've even stopped crafting and gathering.

No time to raid. I got an hour or two when I come home from work.
