Ego trip much? You get off on this don't you.On the bright side, my macro is working flawlessly. I can now cast protect, and stoneskin on every party member, at the click of one button. It also asks people to gather around, and wait as I give out the buffs. A few times a tank went away from my buffs, but I scolded him for it, and phase b of my plan worked. Though he probably had his tail between his legs, because he didn't say anything. That was just one of five dungeons though. cx
He absolutely needs people to stand around as he casts his unimportant buffs. He made a thread telling us all that he's doing it, for no other reason than to make that point. What do you think? The amount of attention you're all giving him is probably making him light-headed.
Sometimes I do dailies or fishing when qued, and when que pops I'm outside of sanctuary, so when I enter dungeon my spells are still on cooldown from switching jobs. And seeing attention deficit disorder and trigger happy tanks rushing as soon as barrier falls when I'm not prepared may get them killed wether I want it ot not, and it'll be only their own fault.
As someone who's main right now is Scholar on my newest character, I have learned a lot from the people in this thread. It is clear that teamwork is what is more important and the TC and his followers have made the definition of teamwork crystal clear.
Teamwork(as defined by the TC and his supporters in this thread): Everyone must do as I command without question, otherwise I shall stop doing my own job and allow my party to die as punishment for someone else playing the way they prefer to play.
Thank you so much for helping me to see the light! I shall set off to live via your glorious image of communist teamwork!
This is really a horrible thread that should have died over 10 pages ago.
Sorry, but as a healer, you should be able to deal with these incredibly minor inconveniences.
If a tank runs off without protect, I'll just swiftcast it on them. It doesn't matter, and no one cares. Being petty will only make the run unenjoyable for yourself and everyone else.
Ever consider listening to yourself and taking your own advice? And your definition of teamwork is completely disrespecting another player for what they do, by letting them die. Respect is give and take, and there is no give with you. And going by previous posts, you're completely on some warped ego trip. You act like you accomplished something by letting a player die. You're not standing up for the community, only yourself. People may agree with you. but you're not in some position of speaking for the majority. What you did right was put any fault off yourself with the macro alert, but you take it too far in that if they don't follow YOU, then they get punished. If they opt to not listen, then you adjust. You act like a child throwing a tantrum if someone does something you don't like. It's petty and disgusting.
I have to agree with this. I won't throw insults or whatnot, but I honestly don't see the issue with a sprint and swiftcast. I had a tank last night that took off on me when the gate went down, I simply sprint ahead of him and cast protect + swiftcast stoneskin II and continued on as if nothing ever happened...and I rarely heal. This is really a horrible thread that should have died over 10 pages ago.

I am a tank main, and while I will wait for buffs, I also know it's not the end of the world if I miss a protect, and I certainly won't stop doing my role if I am refused it. Plus, buffing and then going into the pull on the fly actually feels kinda awesome xD
According to your previous post, respect means scolding others who play differently than yourself.
Or, do you mean teamwork means that everyone must respect you, but you do not need to respect them?
