Probably because players are asking the hard questions and they likely have NDA's that prohibit them from answering such questions. The reps on here is mostly non-answer PR types. I'm not being mean I'm just stating a fact. Some things are considered(mostly glamour requests) while other things amount to "we are or we are not doing this".

And that's about it. I've yet to see mods/admins share open discussions with people on here.

There is like 0 communication on their part, saying we are doing/not doing this is not communication.
Even in live letters they answer only the most convenient questions, ignoring the important ones.
Discussing things between players and developers, opening polls on forum, asking players what they need or if they are ok with the changes they are going to do, and then take a decision, that's what they should do.
