But your employer would point out that you spend 2 hours a week browsing a forum instead of doing work, because that actually affects other people.
Again, stop with the comparison...you're not my boss and I'm not paid to raid...
But I suppose you let your FC leader monitor everything you do at all time in the game, right ?
I'm not putting any word in any people's mouth. That's why I said it would "allow some to say", and not "allow you to say". And you won't convince me that no one would react like that.
The only thing we could discuss is how much of the community is like this, but we won't have real numbers for that. But yes, I'm looking at the half-empty glass instead of half-full, because the half-full wouldn't affect me in any way.

I am in agreement with this answer totally. Also Reynhart is very much right in saying people will find a mere 100 dps poor dps and use it as an excuse to demean kick or ostricize. I mean read the posts a bit back and you will see that 1200 is said to be decent and 1100 bad.. when in truth all it matters would be : did we beat the boss as a group or not ? And if not well then draw your own conclusions and move on or read your personal parser and ask your friend if you want confirmation of your performance as opposed to the whole world having an opinion about it
I'd be perfectly happy to let anyone in the game monitor my numbers in any piece of content, on any job if it meant they were more likely to accept criticism and play correctly.
