I would clip demo then tod. I haven't really mathed it out but this is just what I feel would be best.

Sounds about right, Demolish is our strongest move. Touch needs near full duration to be considered worth it (generally more than a crit bootshine at about 24s), whereas Demolish surpasses a crit-bootshine's worth of damage about 12 seconds in, varying based on crit ticks and whatever the skill speed modifier is. Logically it would suffer less from clipping than Touch would.
